The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin

Mara Dyer and Noah Shaw are two of my all time favorite characters. Love them!

Everneath by Brodi Ashton

Nikki, Cole and Jack make for major swoon worthy drama. Great series!

Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

My favorite Stephanie Perkins book has two fabulous characters – Anna and Étienne St. Clair – and is set in Paris.

1. Read more non fiction

3. Write more book reviews

4. Use the library more often

5. Meet my Goodreads goal of 140 books for 2014

Not Reading Resolutions:

1. Embrace my two words for the year: “More” and “Less”

2. Less sweets and worrying

3. More exercise, doing things I love to do, and most importantly – having fun

4. Attend at least 2 conferences this year

5. Skype with others before the end of the year

The Top Ten Books That I Read in 2013

2013 has been an excellent year of reading! For this top ten, I opted not to include older books that I read this year even though some of them (Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe, Shadow and Bone, and maybe one or two more) would have made this list. While it’s really, REALLY hard to narrow down my favorites from 2013 to only 10, I tried my best and will probably second guess myself long after this post is published. Here we go!!
