Hello, literacy lovers! During the month of August, I will feature treasure for all you savvy teachers with classrooms to fill with cool literacy loot. This week’s items are sure to make your classroom more functional and fun!

Another personalized stamp bookplate for teachers! This one is a handle mount stamp and is for sale at Wilshire Graphic Press on Etsy.com for $30. I like fonts used on this one, too.

I like the idea of having professional business cards to hand out at conferences and other events. I would definitely add my twitter handle too. These adorable teacher business cards from Studio Forty , Old Dirt Hill and Mallory Hope Design are bright and beautiful. $30 for 50 cards (top left), $44 for 100 (top right) and $32.50 for 50 (bottom).

Luxury Item of the week:

This shelf tree wall decal sticker from Smiley Walls would look great in a classroom, child’s room or nursery.  You can add 4 shelves to the decal and have a sharp looking bookshelf. It’s price of $89 is a little luxurious, but I really like the idea of it, so I thought I would share this cool design idea.

Hello, literacy lovers! August is flying by, and  I’m featuring even more treasure for all you savvy teachers with classrooms to fill with cool literacy loot. This week’s items are sure to make your classroom even more functional and fun!

Last week’s featured personalized library stamp was very popular (check it out here: Back to School Teacher Treasures Week 1 ), so I have decided to feature one each week during the month of August. Listed at $24.95, this simple, self inking stamp is the perfect addition to any teacher’s classroom library. You can even choose your ink color – black, blue, red, green, or brown.

Can we just take a moment and look at these adorable classroom banners?! Wouldn’t they look great above a center or in a cozy reading or writing corner? Love them! This stapler from Anthropologie is one cool office supply. Your fellow teachers are sure to have desk envy when they see this little guy, and you definitely won’t have trouble getting a volunteer to staple packets either.  For $18, this stapler can be prominently displayed on your desk or even in a writing center.

I can always count on Modcloth for having something quirky and fun for the home. They featured their Gourmet Grammarian Dish Set for $49.99 on Facebook yesterday, and this cool and functional conversation starting dinnerware is sure to impress your dinner guests.

Hello, literacy lovers! I’m back from our family road trip and the realization of just how many weeks there are before you know what starts is setting in. Meanwhile, I’ve been avoiding my to do lists and looking around for some literacy loot to share. I think I’ve found this week’s winners.

These adorable little “I Love Books” buttons are from PemberleyPond on Etsy.com. Listed at $3.41 for one button. Larger quantities available. Click on the picture to visit this cute little literacy minded shop!

These simple little buttons are too cute not to be shared. While they might be a little pricey, PemberleyPond is an Etsy store not to be missed. They have bookmarks, cards, and VERY COOL literacy prints. Especially if you are a Jane Austen fan!

Spend some time on Society 6’s website and you’ll definitely find something that catches your eye. This shirt is listed for $18.99, and you can also get this printed on a tote bag, card, iPhone case, canvas print, etc.

So this shirt pretty much sums up my summer, and I’ll bet I’m not alone!  I like Society 6’s website because when you find something you like, you can printed on a variety of items. They also have a ton of  t-shirt colors to choose from. The search feature is pretty dangerous.

Hello, literacy lovers! As you read this, I am currently out west on a family vacation probably cursing the heat and eyeing some cute cowgirl boots that will not go with anything I have back in Ohio. I didn’t want you to miss out on more fun literacy loot while I was away… so check it out!  This week’s pick would look great in the home and classroom. It’s a stylish reading declaration to the world!

These classic handmade designed signs might look great on any wall in your home or classroom. What initially drew me to these pieces were the 20 different color options. Lots of choices to check out! Sunshine and Poppy look very cute! The script read sign is $38 and the regular style is $42. There are other cool items in the store, like a wooden robot and (gasp) a NERD SIGN! Need I say more?
